Working with children is one of the most rewarding and satisfying careers and no two days are the same.
The childcare sector is always interesting and super fun! Be the person who makes a difference and who has a positive influence on the life of a child. Whether it’s helping them to explore and grow, to learn and develop, or protecting them.
You will need to be able to use your initiative and have lots of patience. You also need to be friendly and enthusiastic, and have a warm and inspiring attitude that children will respond to and feel nurtured and happy. You will need to be able to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with lots of different people.
Our brand new health simulation ward with state-of-the art facilities reflects a real health care environment. All our childcare students develop work ready skills through extensive work placements and are able to put the theory they have learnt into practice. Our students take part in universities visits to help prepare them for their next step. Expert guest speakers visit our students to give them an insight into working in this dynamic industry.
